Terms of service
Last updated: November 4, 2026
1. The service
Nebulix provides an API that searches the web (/v1/search) and extracts structured data from public web pages (/v1/extract). By creating an account or using an API key you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You need a confirmed email address to use the API. Keep your password and API keys secret. You're responsible for all requests made with your keys. Revoke a key from the dashboard right away if it leaks.
3. Acceptable use
You may only use Nebulix for lawful purposes. In particular you agree not to:
- collect personal data in ways that break privacy laws, or access content you have no right to access;
- use the service to get around paywalls, logins, CAPTCHAs or other access controls;
- overload, attack or disrupt any website, including by trying to work around our rate limits;
- resell raw access to the API without our written permission.
The service respects each site's robots.txt and refuses requests to private networks. These checks don't replace your own responsibility for how you use the data.
4. Plans, credits and billing
- Each plan includes a monthly number of credits. A successful search costs 1 credit and a successful extraction costs 2. Failed requests are free.
- Credits reset on the 1st of each month and don't roll over. When you run out, the API returns
402 out_of_credits. We never charge overages automatically. - Paid plans renew automatically each month or year through Stripe until you cancel. Switching between paid plans is prorated. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
5. Availability
We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee any uptime. Results depend on third-party websites and search providers, which may change or be unavailable.
6. Ending your account
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll email you before it takes effect.
